Boots On The Ground is an anonymous helpline providing confidential and anonymous peer support to First Responders across the province, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is a charitable organization completely run and staffed by volunteers.

Seva Food Bank provides nutritious, culturally appropriate food and essential support to individuals and families facing hunger. Rooted in the Sikh spirit of seva—selfless service—it is the first major initiative of Sikhs Serving Canada Association, a registered not-for-profit. Through community-focused efforts, we strive to build a more just, equitable and nourished society for all.

On December 12, 2019, beautiful Kayla suffered a seizure in the middle of the night, one she was unable to over-come.  Sadly, Kayla passed away in her sleep at the age of ten.  Although never formally diagnosed with Epilepsy, it was determined that she had passed away from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy). 

The Make your Mark Fund was created in memory of Kayla by her family in the hopes that by sharing Kayla’s story, they can bring education, raise awareness, and research to Epilepsy and SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy).
